    For the price of Rs. 1500 per day, you do get a lens with a reach of 600 mm. I used it for a wildlife photography trip to Jhalana. Got some stunning images of leapords. You need to use a beanbag to rest the lens while shooting, its too heavy to handhold for a long time but that is because of the reach. Focussing also is a tad slow but what can you expect its not a prime lens. All this is acceptable, the only real con is the lens goes to 6.3 when you go beyond 500 mm.. So its a good light lens — unless you have a full frame camera that can give minimal noise at 6400 ISO when the light is fading
