These Beauty Products Are A Must For Any Travelling Fashionista

If you are a lady who always wants to look her best wherever she goes, then packing the perfect travel beauty kit is going to be important to sparkle when you’re on vacationing or a business trip. We’ve scanned tips from Elle, Vogue and other pro sources to put together a useful cheat sheet you can use while packing.

Things To Avoid

Before we get into what all you should pack, let’s talk about what you should definitely leave out. Hotels will provide you with shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, razors, soaps and hair dryers, so don’t carry these products unnecessarily. Travel light! And, before you occupy precious luggage space with a hair straightener or curling iron, ditch that idea, too, and embrace some sexy, messy hair that will look fabulous on Instagram. Also, let’s face it, if you’re traveling outside of your country, there might be voltage issues, anyway!

Things To Pack In Your Check-In Baggage  –

* Sunscreen – Practice skin safety, especially if you’re going to be basking in the sun a lot, by carrying sunscreen.

* Face Mask – Indulge in some hotel-room pampering by carrying a hydrating face mask.

* Face Wash & Face Wipes – Keep your skin clean – especially if you’re traveling to a location notorious for pollution – by using face wash and face wipes regularly.

* Serums & Eye Creams – Don’t disrupt your normal skincare routine. Purchase travel-friendly containers {or, ask your favourite salesperson at Sephora to throw in a few of these when you make your next purchase} and transfer the necessary quantity to get you through your trip.

* Top Coat – Make your nail paint last longer by applying top coat as and when necessary instead of carrying nail paints.

Things To Pack In Your Purse

* Deo Stick – Instead of deo sprays, which are usually not allowed in your carry-on luggage due to security issues, opt for a deo stick that will give you more mileage.

* Freebie Fragrances – Remember all those mini fragrance samples you’ve stashed away? They are the perfect size to carry when travelling!

* Dry Shampoo – Touch up your roots and fringes conveniently with dry shampoo powder that works as a charm.

* Moisturizer – Keep your skin soft and smooth with moisturizer, especially during your flight. Fight out dry skin scenarios!

* Concealer & Press Powder – Rather than carrying foundation, opt for a concealer that not only covers up your dark circles and other blemishes but can also offer more coverage when combined with press powder.

* Eye Liner – Limit the number of eyeliners you carry to two – a timeless black option and another color for days you want to experiment with another tone.

* Mascara – Mascara is an excellent tool at making your tired eyes perk up after a long, exhausting journey. Keep this handy!

* Eye Shadow – Many brands offer customizable eye shadow palettes these days. Create a four-shade travel palette that consists of gold, blue, pink {which can also double up as blush for your cheeks} and one more color of your choice.

* Lipsticks & Lip Gloss – Invest in long-lasting matte lipsticks and limit them to two while travelling – a “no makeup look” nude shade and a pop color {a bold red never fails!}. Keep a neutral gloss shade if you want added shimmer.

* Travel-size comb/brush – Keep this on you at all times, especially if you end up in a windy situation.

We hope this checklist makes it easier for you to look your best while travelling, while also keeping your luggage light. Comment below and let us know how it goes!
